Thousands of couples talk about and even attempt marriage; however, only a very small few will succeed in living a healthy marriage. The reality of a success marriage is more than possible but it requires communication, commitment, work & consistency working towards wellness for both spouses.
A study in 2001 & 2013 suggests that individuals within the social circle or circle of influence of marriage ( meaning surrounded by other healthy and married couples) significantly impact and influence a marriage. Outside influence based on social ties may discourage divorce, as individuals are less likely to separate when social ties support the marriage.
